Say hello to the Neutrogena Facial Cleanser! It looks and works exactly like a vibrator, BUT IT'S NO-- oh wait it is.
There have been certain times in my life when I wished for more random vibrating objects in my house, but this is not one of them. (Did you know they made a vibrating razor? OW. I mean, yeah, it's for your legs, but your thoughts just automatically go to other places and OW.)
EDIT:
Oh baby.

I made my goal of getting half my math homework done by today (actually, I should have gotten all of it done by today, but it would have taken me eight hours, which was time that I did not have); down to 20 more concepts to learn from 40(ish, I think it was more).
I also took another assessment test-- the first one was a disaster, it was sprung on me when I was too tired to think, so I had to click "I don't know" on half of the problems (I couldn't even find how to do the problems in my notebook where I keep my scratch work), and I failed miserably... causing the computer to send me back to chapter two when I should be on chapter five. So the last few math classes were spent catching up, and I'm still catching up.
So anyway, took another assessment, and did well enough this time that the computer didn't penalize me. I also took the time to write down detailed instructions on how to solve all the problems that I came across, as well as the new ones I learned after that-- I don't want to fuck up another assessment (they're pretty much random; you never know when the program is going to hit you with one).
Intermediate algebra may seem pretty juvenile to some people, but for me it's a big achievement ^^; it takes all my concentration to do even one problem, when normally I do three things at once just to keep focused and not mentally wander off after butterflies.
So, yay me :3
In other news, the cleaning ladies that my mom has been freaking out about for two weeks finally came today, and spent five hours (while earning an obscene amount of money) doing... not much. We were generally absent while they worked, to keep out of their way, and we came home to find some random things had been polished (the stove looks decent), but that the things that my mom had really wanted done-- the walls, doorknobs, light switches, and anything my stepdad touches washed clean of dirt and grime-- hadn't gotten done. All the grime and grease and general nasty that my stepdad spreads everywhere is still there.
They polished our tea kettle, though.
(now I don't want to sound racist-- I'm not-- but American people just suck at cleaning. We've made the mistake of hiring white people to do our cleaning before, and we won't do it again. If you need someone to do the job well, right, quickly and with little fuss, hire from south of the border. Nuff said.)
