I am occasionally astounded by how little my mom actually cares about me. I texted her today to tell her I was going to the ER; I got an exasperated voicemail from her demanding why I didn't go to school (we've already gone over this like... ninety times, including last night), and then when I called her, she asked why I hadn't gone to work. BECAUSE I WAS AT THE HOSPITAL. "Oh," said Mom. "Well, whatever." Thanks mom, really. I'm sorry I haven't been able to jump through hoops to make you happy lately, but I did sprain my back walking your stupid dog. I kind of want to die. [end transmission] |
