Short update:
Was taken to the hospital by ambulance last night because my back spasmed, putting me in so much pain that I couldn't walk or even stand up on my own. Sat in the emergency room with morphine being pumped into my arm for hours and hours, had some xrays done, of course they can't find anything, but my mom insists that I go back for an MRI (since my insurance pays for it anyway).
Right now I'm on very strong pain meds and using a walker to get around, mostly staying in bed and sleeping the sleep of the heavily drugged.
Also apparently a few days ago my therapist called me and fired me from seeing her (I guess?) because I hadn't shown up to my last appointment. Uh, thanks, just what I needed. I guess I'm on the lookout for a new shrink.
I'll be in bed all day, but will probably update on my Twitter page if/when I find out anything important.
